Extensive biking enables you to visit a series of sacred siteS in LACONIA, including  UNESCO World Heritage site of Mystras, one of the most beautifully preserved archaeological sites of Greece.You also visit the "Gibraltar of the Aegean" former Byzantine-Venetian fortress-state of Monemvasia and the marvellous caves of Diros. Nature abounds on this tour that cuts through the Taygetos and Parnon Mountains where traditional villages steeped in local culture abound. Many say the Peloponnese is the true Greece.  Cycling the "birthplace of Leonidas"





We ride the entire length of the peninsula, along hilly coastal roads and stay in the seaside villages of Plytra and Archangelos, before retreating to the charming island of Elafonnisos. From Elafonnisos we visit Neapoli and the former Byzantine-Venetian fortress-state of Monemvasia. Towards the end of our journey, we start making our way inland to UNESCO World Heritage site of Mystras, one of the most beautifully preserved archaeological sites of Greece. Our last ride back to Plytra over the Taygetos range is also the most challenging, however it is a great way to end a cycling adventure in a beautiful and unspoiled part of the world. Our farewell dinner will be held in the restaurant of your hosts’ place.
